Covid-19 

Guidelines

Following the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 some extra measures and precautions will now take place to ensure that I am able to perform your favourite treatments in a safe and hygienic manner.

Cleanliness and hygiene has always been a top priority here at Unwind Therapies, however I will now have to do some extra cleaning in between clients. 

 

Here is what you need to know and to prepare for your appointment: 

*Please re-schedule if you or anyone in your household feels unwell, even if this is on the day of your appointment. 

*Please DO NOT use public transport to attend your appointment if possible. Please always drive, cycle or walk. 

*Please arrive at your exact appointment time and avoid arriving early as I will be doing extra cleaning in between clients and setting up the treatment room ready for your session

*Please arrive alone and do not bring any friends, family or children to your appointment. 

*Please be prepared to have your temperature taken via a non-contact temperature gun before entering my property.  If it reads a moderate to high temperature then unfortunately I will have to ask you to re-schedule your appointment.  No charge would be made to you should this happen. 

*When entering my property you will be asked to sanitize your hands.  

*Please bring your own face mask with you to your appointment for entering and leaving my property.  

*Please, if you can, pay by debit/credit card via the contactless method. I accept all major cards including AMEX.  If you'd prefer to pay in advance then I can take payment by card over the phone or you can do a transfer via Online Banking or PayPal.  If you book online then you do have an option to pay straight away if you wish to do so. 

*Following your treatment, if you do develop symptoms of Covid-19 then please inform me immediately.  Symptoms of COVID-19 can be: 

  • Fever or shivers/chills

  • New continuous cough

  • Muscle aches

  • Headaches

  • Shortness of breath

  • Sore throat

  • Runny nose or nasal congestion 

  • Loss of sense of taste and or smell 

You will need to confirm at the time of booking that in the last two weeks you have not experienced any of the above symptoms and have not been in contact with anybody who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 or is awaiting a test result for Covid-19 or who is self-isolating because of possible Covid-19 symptoms.
