Hi I'm Natalie and I'd like to say a huge welcome to my pride and joy which is Unwind Therapies.  I have been established since 2011 offering holistic therapies and beauty treatments from my home based treatment room in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

My absolute passion is being able to help people look and feel good.  I like to offer people a place of sanctuary and an escapism from everyday life and I truly believe that we should all take care of ourselves and have some quality time to look after ourselves. 

 

We often let life carry us away and we get too 'caught up' in the daily grind that we forget about ourselves and neglect our bodies and general wellbeing. Stress has a massive impact on our health which will often manifest into illness and disease and therefore taking time to completely relax and let someone else take control can do us the world of good, both on a mental and physical level.

I have always been a big fan of massage but, when I used to work in a corporate environment, I never had the time to treat myself and I was often stressed out with nice, big, juicy knots in my shoulders that used to burn whilst I sat at my desk! It was the stress of a corporate job which led me to become my own boss and set up Unwind Therapies. I simply desired a better work/life balance. 

 

Since becoming a Therapist, I now appreciate how important it is to look after my body and I now make sure I have regular treatments.   

 

I have travelled to a lot of places all over the world such as Thailand, Bali, Malaysia, Cambodia, Mexico, Hawaii, Fiji and Costa Rica and have experienced many different massages, and it's experiencing different techniques which have given me inspiration and confidence over the years in how I deliver my treatments to my clients.  Every Massage Therapist develops their own unique style and I believe that to be a good Massage Therapist, you have to at least love massage yourself!
